Tea tree oils that you buy in the store are not pure tea tree oil. If you want to use oils, I suggest Young Living essential oils.
REad how this person uses them.

It shows how they work and how amazing they are.
It is so healthy to use, way healthier than vaccinations. They can kill so many parasites as well. It is truely amazing.

  2. !There is no cure for Ignorance! Says:

Your dog needs veterinary attention. The dog’s skin is sore, crusty, and oozing; the hair follicles are clogged with mites and debris. Treatment is extended and requires bathing in medicated shampoo and application of an insecticide to kill the mites.

Your question is if it works on demodectic mange, yes, it does, I’m a big user of Tea Tree Oil also.

To treat mange, wash your dog or cat using a mild soap and water, then clip or shave excess hair. Soak a cotton puff with tea tree oil and saturate on specific areas twice daily until mange disappears. For overall application, mix 1 teaspoon tea tree oil with 1/3 cup of water, place in a plant mister and spray the mange areas.

Store bought thing that works great on Demodectic mange is Promeris.

    No.

To know that it is demodex you have been to the Vet & had it explained to you. & told what you need to do to cure it.

Mange usually only attacks dogs with low immune systems. All dogs have mange mites but it is only when the immune system is down do they start being a problem.

Go back to your Vet for treatment.

That’s like trying to cure cancer with herbal remedies.

Get your dog to the vet, have a skin scraping done to identify WHAT KIND of mange, there are 2 kinds.
Vet will give you the right dips and shampoos – your dog will be cured with treatment.

It is nuts to try to “naturally” cure mange – there is NO cure but meds and first you need to know what type of mange your poor dog has.

Get him to the vet – not that expensive to have this cured.

Promeris does. It is amazing. We use it at rescue all the time. You can get it from your vet or on ebay.
    Good Luck
